Job Summary
Qwench Juice Bar is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Team Members to join our vibrant team. As a vital part of our operation, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment, preparing delicious & nutritious smoothies, juices, and food items, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic food industry setting, providing a fun and fast-paced atmosphere where teamwork and efficiency are valued.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their experience
- Prepare smoothies, fresh juices, acai bowls, sandwiches, and other menu items according to company standards
- Operate POS systems, and process customer transactions, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Manage food safety and handling procedures to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas throughout shifts
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, assembling, and packaging menu items
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Perform additional tasks required to support daily store operations
Qualifications
- Previous food service, restaurant, café, or retail experience is an asset but not required
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs (23kg)
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
