Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves working with various materials and utilizing power and hand tools to assemble components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the fabrication process.
Responsibilities
- Operate welding equipment to fabricate and assemble metal structures and components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project specifications.
- Utilize plasma cutting techniques to shape materials as required.
- Employ hand tools and power tools for cutting, grinding, and finishing metal parts.
- Rig components safely for assembly and ensure proper alignment during the welding process.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication techniques.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
- Familiarity with plasma cutting equipment and techniques.
- Strong skills in using both hand tools and power tools effectively.
