Job Summary
- Perform in-shop and in-field (customer site) belting services.
- Work includes; rigging, hot splicing, cold splicing, mechanical clips, scraper maintenance, belt and roll installation
- While working onsite and dealing with customers you must behave in a professional manner up to Dunrite standards.
- Communicate customer issues with lead hand or responsible personnel.
- Be available for emergency breakdowns on-call service 24/7 when required.
- Complete conveyor repairs, and maintenance
- Fill out all required daily paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
Required Education and Qualifications
- Must be a Canadian resident, legally able to work in Canada
- Must be willing to relocate to Sudbury Ontario, if not already a resident of Sudbury currently
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Valid Driver’s License and submit drivers abstract
- Eager to learn, willing to work long hours and emergency hours.
- Hard-working, strong work ethic, detail-oriented, self-motivated
- Strong problem-solving skills, organization and planning skills
- Ability to work under pressure, long hours in different environmental and work conditions
- Must be physically fit (heavy lifting)
