Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Psychotherapist or Social Worker that has an avid interest in group practice and building their own caseload. The candidate will work as an independent contractor, providing psychotherapy services to child, adolescent and adult clients. This position requires the candidate to be available to work in person in Woodstock at least twice per week with possibility to build up to five times per week as their caseload grows. As we have requests for evening and weekend appointments, some availability evenings and/or weekends will be required. This is a contract role with the potential for a long-term and full-time working relationship.
Duties
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy both in-person and virtually. Most of the appointments will be in-person
- Maintain professional standards that align with your regulatory college
- Utilize the Jane App software provided by Cross That Bridge Therapy Group
- Maintain your own schedule and clinical notes, as well as ensure payment of client sessions
- Maintain a Psychology Today profile at own expense
- Arrange for your own supervision (option to obtain from practice owner), as required by the CRPO or OCSWSSW
- Openness for training and supervision with practice owner during first 3 months
- Take part in periodic team meetings and gatherings
Qualifications:
- Master’s level degree in counselling psychology, social work, or related field
- Member in good standing with CRPO or OCSWSSW
- Must possess Professional Liability Insurance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both in-person and virtually
- Candidate must have a work space and suitable technology for virtual psychotherapy (a stable internet connection, high quality camera, audio, etc.) as well as a reliable method of transportation to Woodstock, Ontario for in-person sessions
- Experience working with children, families, and couples is an asset

Pay: $84.00-$108.00 per hour
