Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dynamic dental team. Experience with dental software and procedures, especially in orthodontics and pediatrics, is highly valued. Duties
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including orthodontics and pediatric treatments.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary.
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Epic and Dentrix.
- Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions.
- Schedule appointments, confirm patient visits, and handle patient inquiries as a dental receptionist when needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment in compliance with safety standards.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to patient care coordination and documentation.
Skills
- Proficiency with dental software including Epic and Dentrix for record management.
- Experience with orthodontics procedures and pediatric dentistry is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental practice.
- Strong understanding of dental assisting techniques, including sterilization and radiography (CAD experience is a plus).
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in medical office administration is advantageous. This position requires a motivated individual committed to delivering outstanding patient care while supporting the clinical team with technical expertise and compassionate service.
Pay: $34.00-$37.00 per hour
