Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Warehouse Associate/ Forklift operorator on behalf of our client in Abbotsford, BC. Our client is looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join their team. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that involves picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and organizing inventory while maintaining a clean and safe warehouse. Key Responsibilities
- Pick and prepare customer orders accurately for shipment
- Receive, unload, and unpack incoming products
- Put inventory away in the correct warehouse locations
- Restock inventory as needed
- Scan and verify outgoing orders
- Pack orders securely and ensure all required paperwork is included
- Load, wrap, and prepare pallets for shipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow company safety procedures and warehouse best practices
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience is an asset
- Able to stand and walk for an entire shift (10,000–15,000 steps per day)
- Able to lift up to 70 lbs when required
- Steel-toe boots are required
- Reliable transportation (the worksite is not accessible by public transit)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Assets
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as:
- Vertical Lift Module (VLM)
- Work Assist Vehicle (WAV)
- Genie lift experience
- Valid forklift certification (Class 1, 2, 4, or 5) is considered an asset, although forklifts are only used occasionally in this warehouse.
