Job Summary
Under the direction of the Guest Services Manager, the Guest Service Agent is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through professional, courteous, and efficient front desk operations. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring smooth hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and provide efficient check-in and check-out services.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns.
- Provide information regarding hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Maintain accurate guest records and process payments, charges, and reservations.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to manage room readiness, early arrivals, late departures, stayovers, and room changes.
- Verify guest identification, payment methods, and complete credit card authorizations.
- Record guest vehicle information and ensure compliance with hotel procedures.
- Operate the front office system accurately and balance shift transactions and reports.
- Maintain and reconcile cashier floats; report discrepancies immediately.
- Handle wake-up calls and ensure timely delivery to guests.
- Issue and manage safety deposit boxes according to hotel policies.
- Support occupancy goals by identifying upselling opportunities when appropriate.
- Report guest concerns, security matters, suspicious activity, or equipment malfunctions to management.
- Follow all Hilton brand standards, including Hampton NOW, BOOST, Guest Assistance, KIPSU, Stay Experience, and Quality Assurance guidelines.
- Adhere to all health, safety, WHMIS, emergency, and security procedures.
- Assist other departments and support hotel operations as required.
- But not limited to and may change according to the business need.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality education is considered an asset.
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or front desk operations preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional, positive, and guest-focused attitude.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience with hotel management software is an asset.
- Familiarity with WHMIS, workplace health & safety, and emergency procedures preferred.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs consistently.
- Must be able to push or pull up to 50 lbs when required.
- Physical mobility and stamina are necessary to perform job duties effectively.
Compensation
- Expected Wage: $17.60 to $18.50 per hour
