ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Maintenance Team Member is responsible for the general upkeep, maintenance, repair, and appearance of the organization's buildings, grounds, equipment, and facilities. This role performs a variety of maintenance, repair, custodial, and property upkeep tasks to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests, staff, and visitors.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform general maintenance and repair work in guest rooms, staff accommodations, common areas, and facility buildings.

Complete minor carpentry, painting, plumbing, and repair tasks as required.

Respond to maintenance requests and address facility issues in a timely manner.

Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and property to identify maintenance needs.

Collect and dispose of garbage, recycling, and waste materials from designated areas.

Move furniture, equipment, supplies, and materials as required.

Assist with room setups, event setups, and seasonal facility preparations.

Cut lawns, clear leaves, and maintain outdoor spaces as required.

Split, stack, and transport firewood.

Maintain roads, walkways, trails, docks, and other property infrastructure.

Operate and maintain maintenance equipment and tools safely and report repair needs.

Assist with seasonal projects, renovations, and property improvement initiatives.

Support the overall cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the property.

Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Solid work ethic, ability for strenuous physical labour (pushing, lifting, etc.)
- Experience in handy work, landscaping, lawn mowing are all great assets.

A valid driver’s license (G1, G2, G) is preferred.
