Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential, commercial, and industrial painting projects, with a strong understanding of construction and restoration processes. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint and coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes that meet client specifications. The Painter will work closely with project managers and clients to deliver exceptional results while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paints, stains, coatings, and finishes using brushes, rollers, spray guns, and power tools
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine project scope and specifications
- Perform restoration work on damaged surfaces or structures as needed
- Operate rigging equipment and handle scaffolding safely for elevated work areas
- Utilize hand tools and carpentry skills for surface preparation and minor repairs
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met
- Manage time efficiently to complete projects within designated deadlines
Skills
- Proven experience in construction painting, residential painting, commercial painting, and industrial painting
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, and rigging equipment
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation techniques including sanding and caulking
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Customer service orientation with a professional attitude toward client interactions
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to scaffolding, rigging, and the use of hazardous materials
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing ladders or scaffolding, and working in various environmental conditions

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
