Are you a refrigeration technician who prefers diagnostics and service over repetitive installs?
Thermo Tec Mechanical is expanding our service division and looking for a Red Seal Refrigeration Mechanic with strong troubleshooting ability and Gas certification to lead complex diagnostic and repair work.
This role is refrigeration-heavy and service-focused.
The Work:
- Advanced diagnostics on heat pumps & HVAC systems
- Refrigeration system troubleshooting
- Electrical and controls diagnosis
- Performance testing & system optimization
- Light commercial refrigeration service
- Minimal repetitive production installs
We are looking for a technician who can walk onto a site, diagnose efficiently, and solve problems properly the first time.

Relocation Support Available
We are open to experienced out-of-town applicants and can assist with relocation for the right technician looking to move to Vancouver Island.
Requirements:
- Red Seal Refrigeration Mechanic
- Class B Gas Fitter or Red Seal Gas
- Strong electrical & control troubleshooting skills
- Minimum 5+ years field experience preferred
- Clean driver’s abstract
