Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced FOH (Front of House) Manager to lead our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive hospitality experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and guest satisfaction. Previous experience in food service, restaurant management, or hotel hospitality is highly valued, along with proficiency in food preparation, cooking, and POS systems such as pixel point POS. A background in supervising teams, interviewing staff, and managing restaurant workflows will be essential to success in this position.
Duties
- Lead and supervise front-of-house staff including servers, hosts, and bartenders to ensure smooth daily operations
- Oversee food service procedures, ensuring quality standards are maintained and customer satisfaction is prioritized
- Manage cash handling processes and operate POS systems efficiently
- Conduct interviewing and onboarding of new team members to build a strong, motivated team
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
- Assist with food preparation and cooking when necessary to support kitchen operations
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a welcoming environment for guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area in accordance with health standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate service flow during busy periods
- Train staff on hospitality best practices, food safety protocols, and POS usage
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant management; supervisory experience preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Experience operating POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Background in food handling, serving, and restaurant operations; hotel or barista experience is a plus
- Ability to interview and onboard new staff members confidently
- Demonstrated ability to manage cash handling procedures accurately
- Familiarity with the food industry trends and restaurant workflows
- Exceptional communication skills and a professional demeanor

Pay: $46,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
