Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and supplies
- Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and ensure all surfaces are sanitized to meet health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and fixtures
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning materials to ensure availability for guests and staff
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution
- Follow established safety procedures during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding confidentiality, security, and guest privacy at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles, preferably within the hospitality industry or industrial cleaning environments
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and safety protocols
- Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for cleanliness and organization
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks involving lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Exceptional communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues effectively
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as needed
