Summer Camp Teacher

Position Overview
We are currently seeking a passionate and creative Summer Camp Teacher (RECE, OCT or Montessori Trained) or Summer Camp assistants to join our team for July and August (Monday to Friday). This full-time seasonal role offers the possibility of transitioning into a full-time or part-time position starting in September.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engaging arts and crafts activities aligned with weekly themes
- Design and implement age-appropriate activities centered around the camp themes
- Supervise and support children primarily aged 1.5 to 2.5 years old or 2.5 to 6 years
Qualifications & Skills
- RECE, Montessori training, or Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) designation preferred
- Previous experience in a classroom or camp setting is a strong asset
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and working with young children
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Montessori principles is an asset
- Knowledge of Cantonese and/or Mandarin an Asset
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR Level C certification
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (required upon hire)
- Up-to-date health and immunization records including 2-step TB test, Tetanus, and MMR
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
