Overview
We are seeking experienced Lawn Cutting Crew Foremen to lead and supervise our landscaping team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance, horticulture, and gardening, with proven leadership and supervising skills. This role involves overseeing daily operations of lawn care crew, ensuring quality work, and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. Prior experience in Commercial Lawn Cutting , or related fields is a must . The position offers an opportunity to manage projects, mentor team members, and contribute to the beautification of commercial properties.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise lawn cutting crews to ensure timely and quality completion of landscaping projects
- Coordinate daily schedules and assign tasks to team members based on project requirements
- Oversee landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, edging, and clean-up
- Monitor work sites for safety compliance and enforce safety protocols among crew members .
- Provide training and mentorship to crew members on horticulture practices, equipment use, and safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding project progress and address any concerns or special requests
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of landscaping tools and equipment .
Requirements
- Proven supervising or leadership experience in landscaping or lawn care services
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening techniques, horticulture principles, and landscape maintenance
- Experience in construction or related trades is a plus
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
- Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation for job site travel
- Commitment to safety protocols and attention to detail in all aspects of work
Shop isn’t accessible by public transportation so having your own form of transportation is a must!, must have a sin number and steeltoed boots not shoes !!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
