We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer / Stylist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional grooming services to pets, ensuring they look and feel their best. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting. Responsibilities
- Groom and style pets according to breed standards and/or client preferences
- Bathe, dry, brush, and trim pets' fur, nails, ears, etc.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming area.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming needs and care tips.
- Handle heavy lifting of pets and grooming equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets throughout the grooming process
- Keep detailed records of grooming services performed and any special instructions from pet owners
Requirements
- Prior experience in pet grooming or styling in a large volume atmosphere.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting of animals and equipment safely.
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow safety protocols at all times.
