Overview
A wellness clinic in Fort McMurray is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a casual independent contractor basis.
This position is ideal for an RN looking for flexible supplemental income alongside an existing nursing role. Services are provided based on client bookings and your availability. There are no guaranteed hours.
Responsibilities:
- Perform client assessments and review health histories, confirm eligibility.
- Initiate and monitor IV infusions
- Administer intramuscular injections
- Monitor clients throughout treatment and respond appropriately to adverse reactions
- Complete accurate and timely documentation
- Provide professional, client-centered care
- Provide nursing education
Qualifications:
- Active RN registration in good standing with CRNA
- Current BLS certification
- Strong IV insertion and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment
Assets:
- Experience with IV therapy, infusion services, or wellness clinics
- Emergency, acute care, occupational health, or ambulatory care experience
