Job Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Operate robotic CCTV cameras, push cameras, and related equipment to inspect underground pipelines.
- Record video footage and capture defect codes per NASSCO PACP (Pipeline Assessment Certification Program) standards.
- Generate detailed reports on pipeline conditions, including structural defects, blockages, and infiltration.
- Work closely with project managers and engineers to provide accurate pipeline data.
- Maintain CCTV inspection of vehicles, cameras, and software systems.
- Assist in traffic control and job site setup when necessary.
- Conduct accurate and thorough CCTV inspections to assess pipeline conditions.
- Maintain and operate CCTV camera systems effectively, ensuring high-quality video capture.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of inspection results.
- Follow safety protocols, especially when working in confined spaces and around traffic.
- Ensure that tasks are performed safely with the highest level of quality and integrity.
- Arrive at the office or job site on time and ready to work.
- Adhere to company policies.
- Works when scheduled and complies with the company attendance policy.
- Travel to various job sites as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating CCTV pipeline inspection equipment.
- NASSCO PACP/LACP certified.
- Competence in CCTV inspection software(CT Spec) and data entry.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and follow OSHA safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges in the field.
- Must be able to adhere to confined space entry protocols and other safety procedures.
- Must adhere to safety policies and procedures, contribute to maintaining a safe and clean work environment, and demonstrate proficiency in wearing and utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and maintain a positive attitude.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English effectively.
Physical Requirements
Work may be performed in industrial settings and outdoor environments, exposing employees to extreme temperatures, weather conditions, noise, mechanical and electrical hazards, chemical exposure, odors, and fumes. The role requires the ability to enter confined spaces as needed and lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation. Physical demands include climbing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, prolonged standing, and using hands and fingers to operate tools.
- You should have the ability to operate heavy machinery for extended periods.
- The nature of the work requires you to be comfortable working outdoors and in various weather conditions.
- You should be able to lift and carry heavy materials of up to 50 pounds.
- A Willingness to work in confined spaces and at varying heights is necessary.
- Availability for overtime and on-call work as needed.
