Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring a welcoming and supportive experience for all patients.
- Perform professional dispensing duties in accordance with federal and provincial regulations.
- Administer injections and vaccinations safely and effectively, following current clinical guidelines.
- Assess, prescribe, and manage treatments for eligible conditions for Minor Ailments (must have certification).
- Offer counseling and education on prescription medications, over the counter products, and health management.
- Support patient adherence through services such as blister packaging, med checks, and chronic disease management.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain workflow efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Build positive relationships with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with Ontario College of Pharmacists.
- Injection training and certification required.
- Minor Ailments Certification required.
- Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to continuing education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism.
- Proven ability to work both individually and as part of a collaborative team.
- A friendly, approachable demeanor with a genuine passion for patient-centered care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $53.00-$55.00 per hour
