Duties
- Engage with customers warmly, providing personalized fragrance consultations and product demos to enhance their shopping experience
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems to process transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
- Promote upselling by recommending complementary products such as skincare, makeup, or accessories to boost sales and customer satisfaction
- Maintain stock levels by organizing merchandise on shelves, restocking displays, and ensuring the store is visually appealing through effective merchandising
- Manage social media platforms by sharing product highlights, promotions, and engaging content to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Conduct product demos confidently, explaining scent profiles and application techniques to educate customers about our offerings
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments to ensure professional communication at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, especially in beauty & cosmetics or fragrance sales, is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for connecting with diverse clientele
- Familiarity with retail software such as Millennium or salon management systems to streamline sales and inventory management
- Knowledge of Cosmetology or makeup application techniques is advantageous for providing expert advice
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling, retail math tasks, and stock management accurately
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor and active listening abilities
- Organizational skills to manage stock levels, merchandising displays, and time efficiently during busy periods
- Bilingual capabilities to serve a broader customer base effectively; proficiency in social media management tools is a bonus
- Comfortable working at the front desk or cashier station while maintaining professionalism and positive attitude
