Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting clients warmly and addressing their needs effectively
- Assist clients with hair styling services, offering expert advice and upselling additional products or treatments when appropriate
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, including styling stations and retail displays
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing transactions
- Communicate clearly with clients to understand their preferences and provide tailored recommendations
- Support retail sales efforts by promoting products that meet client needs and enhance their experience
- Ensure the salon or retail space remains organized, inviting, and compliant with health and safety standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, hair styling, or retail sales is preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
- Knowledge of sanitation practices relevant to salon or retail environments
- Ability to upsell products and services effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
