Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Telehandler Operator to join our team on a temporary 3-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a telehandler to support roofing and construction activities on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate telehandler to lift, move, and place materials on construction sites
- Load and unload roofing materials (shingles, plywood, equipment, etc.)
- Assist with material distribution to various work areas
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Follow all safety regulations and site procedures
- Coordinate with site supervisors and crew members to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Help & Assist Roofing Crew to clean up.
- Use magnet on ground after telehandler.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating a telehandler
- Valid certification/license to operate telehandler equipment
- Strong understanding of construction site safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials when required
- Reliable and punctual
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on roofing or residential construction projects
- Fall protection certification (asset)

- Competitive hourly wage (based on experience)

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
