JP Landscaping is looking for 4 motivated individuals to join our crew for the 2026 season. We are one of the Bow Valley's most respected landscaping companies, currently working on a prestigious commercial project in Banff.
Positions available:
- 2 positions starting immediately
What you'll be doing: Working as part of a hands-on crew on high-end commercial and residential landscaping projects in Banff and Canmore. This is physical, rewarding outdoor work in one of the most beautiful settings in Canada.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Shoveling, raking and wheel barrowing
- Installation of paving stones
- Leveling natural rock
- Tree and shrub planting
- Heavy lifting
- Handling power tools
What we're looking for:
- Good physical fitness — this is manual labour
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Self-motivated and comfortable working as part of a team
- Comfortable using power tools
- Experience with physical work, engine tools, or heavy machinery is an asset but not required
- Driver's licence is a strong asset

- Do you have experience working with power tools (e.g. concrete saw, chain saw, plate temper)?
- Have you ever been employed to do heavy manual labour (not helping out a friend or family member)?
- Are you physically fit and able to do heavy lifting?
- Are you willing to work long hours (usually not more than 10h unless a job requires it to get finished)?
- Do you have experience in (any) construction work?
- Do you consider yourself being a team player?
- Are you a fast learner?
- Are you self motivated?
- Do you know the difference between landscaping maintenance (mowing lawn, pruning shrubs,... ) and landscaping construction (install of paving stones, retaining walls, use of machinery, heavy lifting, ...) ?
- Are you currently within Canada with a valid work permit (or a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada)?
