This role is part of our ET/UT product line.
The incumbent of this position performs the architecture or development of VHDL and/or Verilog modules on FPGA. He participates in all stages of product development: design, prototyping, validation and transfer to production.

As FPGA Designer, you must be able to
- Definition of digital architecture.
- Module programming in VHDL or Verilog.
- FPGA-based schematic validation and verification.
- Define the schematic requirements specific to the proper functioning of FPGAs.
- Participate in schematic reviews that include FPGAs.
- Maybe call in to oversee the PCB design (layout).
- Support for the start-up of FPGA-based electronic prototypes.
- Write and carry out prototype test programs.
- Perform and run simulations.
- Close collaboration with the Electronics and Firmware designers.

What makes you an asset to our team
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a specialization in electronics.
- Minimum five years of experience in VHDL design.
- Knowledge of Altium electronic schematic software (asset).
- Knowledge of the Xilinx suite.
- Knowledge of the Lattice Suite (asset).
- Knowledge of high-speed design is an asset.
- Knowledge of ModelSim (asset).
- Knowledge NDT, ECT, PAUT (asset).
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Rigorous and concerned about a job well done.
