Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Banquet Supervisor / Server to join our hospitality team. This role involves overseeing banquet service operations and providing exceptional guest experiences during events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, hospitality, and guest relations, ensuring smooth event execution and high customer satisfaction. Experience in restaurant or hotel settings, along with knowledge of food safety and food handling protocols, is highly desirable.
Duties
- Supervise banquet service staff to ensure efficient and professional delivery of food and beverages
- Set up banquet areas according to event specifications, including arranging tables, linens, and service stations
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner, maintaining high standards of hospitality
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed, adhering to food safety standards
- Monitor guest needs throughout events, addressing any concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of menu items and special requests
- Uphold food handling safety protocols in compliance with health regulations
Requirements
- Prior experience in restaurant, food service, or hotel industry preferred; hospitality experience is a plus
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on professionalism and attentiveness
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Ability to serve guests courteously while managing multiple responsibilities during events
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by event schedules
- Previous supervisory experience is advantageous but not mandatory; leadership skills are valued
- A positive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
