The Role
Hiring from within Edmonton area, R3 Deconstruction is seeking a skilled and dependable Concrete Cutter / Corer in the Edmonton area to support commercial and industrial projects across Alberta. This field-based role requires strong technical ability, precision, and a commitment to safety.
You will be responsible for executing concrete cutting and coring work to specification and providing accurate reporting to project teams. The role requires sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high-quality production standards in active construction environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform precision concrete cutting and coring using walk-behind saws, wall saws, hand saws, and core drills
- Operate and maintain cutting equipment including, but not limited to, diamond blades, concrete chainsaws, and hydraulic power units.
- Complete work orders, timesheets, and site documentation (SiteDocs experience considered an asset)
- Follow all safety policies, PPE requirements, and site-specific procedures
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members to support project timelines and quality standards
Requirements:
- Previous experience in concrete cutting and coring required
- Proficiency in operating concrete cutting equipment and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the job.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract
- Comfortable using basic computer systems for reporting and communication
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Flexible availability, including occasional night or weekend shifts
