Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Kitchen Support to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen utensils, dishes, glassware and cookware to ensure a smooth and efficient food service operation. The perfect fit for the role will have an interest in cuisine/hospitality and is looking to grow.
Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to health and safety standards
- Wash and polish glassware
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including handling food items safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces
- Support the kitchen staff by ensuring all necessary utensils and equipment are available for food service
- Follow proper procedures for waste disposal and recycling to keep the kitchen environment clean
- Adhere to food handling and safety regulations at all times
- Assist with light cleaning duties in the dining area or other designated spaces as required
Skills
- Experience in cleaning and maintaining kitchen or restaurant environments preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic understanding of food service operations and hospitality standards
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff
- Prior experience in hospitality, hotel, or food service industries is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with physical stamina

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
