Balto Capital is a fast-growing real estate investment and asset management company focused on acquiring and operating multi-residential properties across Canada.
We are looking for a reliable handyman/woman to handle basic repairs and maintenance between tenant move-ins and move-outs. This is steady, straightforward work ideal for someone who's detail-oriented, shows up on time, and can turn units around quickly and efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Prepare vacant apartments for new tenants
- Replace and repair faucets and plumbing fixtures
- Install and replace light fixtures, switches and outlet covers
- Install/replace smoke detectors (and test for functionality)
- Repair or replace baseboards, doors, hardware and cabinetry
- Install shelving, blinds and other fixtures
- Report any larger issues (plumbing, electrical, structural) that require a licensed trade
- Take photos and provide progress updates throughout the day
- Travel between assigned properties as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in maintenance or renovations
- Own basic tools (drill, screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.)
- Comfortable working independently and managing time across multiple units
- Comfortable performing basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry work
- Ability to safely use common hand and power tools
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable using a smartphone to communicate and document completed work
- Legally entitled to work in Canada

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
