Overview
We are a fast-growing garment care company with multiple alterations and dry cleaning depots across the city. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Garment Alterations Specialist to join our team on a part-time or full time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality alterations and tailoring services to our customers. Your expertise will ensure that garments fit perfectly, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail and a passion for fashion, along with excellent customer service skills.
Duties
- Perform high-quality garment alterations, including but not limited to hems, seams, zippers, and button replacements.
- Receive and process garments for dry cleaning and laundry services.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Ensure all alterations are completed accurately and within the specified timeframe.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
Experience
- Proven experience in garment alterations.
- Proficiency in using sewing machines and other alteration equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must speak English fluently.
- Preference for female candidates
Pay: $16.35-$20.00 per hour
