Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer to join our team. This role involves supporting various outdoor work in the production and harvest of field crops. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn. This position offers an opportunity to develop hands-on experience in agriculture.
Duties
- Perform heavy lifting of materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
- Use hand tools for weeding and crop harvesting
- Support planting, pruning, watering, and other horticultural activities
- Follow safety protocols during all operations to ensure a secure work environment
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and proper storage of tools and equipment
Requirements
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and repetitive tasks
- Strong understanding of basic math for measurements and calculations during tasks
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools for repairs and installations
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team
- Prior experience an asset but not required, training will be provided
- No degree, certificate or diploma required
