Job Description – Order Picker / Warehouse Shipper
Allied Threaded Products Inc. (ATP) in Delta, British Columbia is looking for an Order Picker / Warehouse Shipper.
The role is responsible for picking and preparing orders for shipping to customer specification in an accurate and timely matter. The candidate will also be responsible for helping in the logistics of incoming inventory as well as some administrative functions.

Duties & Responsibilities
§ Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
§ Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in shipping area.
§ Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.
§ Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat. Sweep, dust and mop as appropriate. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness.
§ Schedule shipments. Prepare and/or sign off on shipping documents. (i.e. bills of lading, waybills, etc.)
§ Wear proper safety equipment.
§ Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
§ Ability to use of forklift as well as swing reach truck.
§ Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
§ Maintain compliance with all ATP policies and procedures.
Qualifications
§ Valid driver’s license and/or certification to operate a forklift and other machinery in the warehouse.
§ Experience in warehouse work.
§ Able to work independently and part of a team.
§ Completion of high school diploma or equivalent.
§ 1-2 years previous work experience.
§ Good communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills.
§ Dependable and reliable.
§ Must be able to regularly lift 60 lbs. (at a minimum).
§ Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills.
§ Forklift license is a must for this position (will be supplied).
§ Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
