Position Overview
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking General Labourer to support our painting crew. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in a job well done, and wants to gain experience in the painting and construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist painters with job site setup and cleanup
- Prepare surfaces (sanding, scraping, masking, caulking, priming)
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow safety procedures and company standards
- Support team members to ensure projects are completed on time
Requirements
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to perform physical labour (lifting, standing for long periods)
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Punctual and dependable
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Previous construction or painting experience is an asset, but not required
