Responsibilities
- Install, rotate, balance, and repair tires to ensure safety and optimal vehicle performance
- Conduct oil changes, fluid top-offs, filter replacements, and other routine maintenance tasks
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete repairs accurately and safely
- Assist customers by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance or products
- Perform heavy lifting of tires and equipment safely during service procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with industry standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a dealership or automotive repair shop is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity using hand tools and power tools
- Experience with automotive repair, tire installation, and routine maintenance tasks
- Ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly throughout the day in a safe manner
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and maintenance procedures
- Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the automotive service industry
