Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused and enthusiastic Guest Service Night Auditor to join our team. We are currently looking to fill the overnight shift from 11pm to 7am. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming and professional experience for our guests while ensuring the hotel’s daily financial transactions are balanced and accurate during overnight hours. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle front desk responsibilities, and complete the night audit process. This full time position includes some daytime, evening and weekends shifts as required.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately
- Manage phone systems with professionalism, providing accurate information and courteous assistance
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of guest reservations, billing, and special requests
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Provide information about property amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest stays
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette and guest relations at all times
- Ensure front desk and lobby remains clean, organized and welcoming
- Complete the nightly audit process and reconcile daily financial transactions
- Prepare daily reports and end-of-day documentation and complete updates
- Verify accuracy of guest accounts, charges and postings and communicate important information to next shift during handover
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Knowledge of hotel management systems is an asset
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle guest relations professionally in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities overnight
