Job Description
Modpro/Modpools, North America’s only patented container pool company, is looking for highly motivated, dependable, and career-oriented paint preps to join our team.
On the job training is provided, though preference will be given to applicants with previous industrial painting experience.
This is a full-time permanent position based out of Abbotsford. The job requires travel in the US and Canada for weeks at a time. We operate year-round. Applicants must have their own vehicle or reliable transportation to work.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Sanding, caulking, bondo application, and mixing primer
- Coordination of tasks as needed, including priming, prepping, wrapping, and de-prepping lined pools
- Tracking and organizing consumables
- The ability to work both under direction and independently as the job requires
- Working as a team with Fabrication, Plumbing and Electrical to ensure pools are completed properly and on time
Experience and Abilities
- 1 Year of industrial paint prep/painting experience preferred
- Working knowledge of tools and equipment involved in paint prep
- Forklift Ticket an asset but not required
