Your Role
Reporting to the VP of Quality & Regulatory, you will lead the regulatory strategy across North America.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and executing the North American regulatory roadmap
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with FDA, CFIA and applicable provincial/state regulations
- Overseeing product registrations, regulatory submissions and market access documentation
- Reviewing ingredient declarations, nutritional claims and labeling compliance
- Leading and developing a team of 5–6 regulatory professionals
- Structuring internal regulatory processes and setting clear priorities
- Monitoring regulatory updates (FSMA, Safe Food for Canadians Regulations, BRCGS, allergens, import/export, etc.)
- Assessing operational impact of regulatory changes
- Partnering closely with Quality, R&D, Operations, Marketing and Sales
- Acting as primary liaison with regulatory authorities
- Representing the organization with external stakeholders and industry associations
This is a leadership position combining strategic influence with strong operational involvement.
