Description
We're looking for experienced Equipment Operators to join our team on a road building and reclamation project in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

Essential Responsibilities:
Primarily operate Excavators (20 – 80 ton) and Dozers (D6 – D10)
Operate other equipment such as a grader, water truck and roller packer as required
Perform excavation, grading, loading, material handling, and earthmoving activities
Set up dumps for optimal cycle times, windrow, striping and separating of organized materials for the loading units
Perform pre-trip inspections and complete daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities
Work collaboratively with crew members to meet production and quality targets
Adhere to all Ledcor and project safety policies, procedures, and site requirements
Qualifications:
At least 3 years’ experience operating dozers, excavators and other equipment
Previous experience in road building, reclamation work or mining are highly preferred
Experience using GPS machine control systems is preferred
Fine grading experience is considered an asset
Must be available for day / night shifts
Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing
Valid driver’s license
Ground Disturbance Level 2 certification
CSTS 09, Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or OSSA Basic Safety Orientation (BSO)
Work Conditions
14 days on and 7 days off, working 12 hours per day
