Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Gas Station Attendant to join our team.
The site also has a vape shop as such there is the opportunity to work at both stores.
In both roles, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers while ensuring the smooth operation of the stores. You will play a key role in maintaining a clean and organized environment, assisting customers with their fuel needs, and promoting additional products and services.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with fueling their vehicles.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station, including fuel pumps, convenience store, and restroom facilities.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding products, services, and promotions.
- Upsell on-site car wash and products such as snacks, beverages, and car care items to enhance customer experience.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently while adhering to company policies for cashiering.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking shelves as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in gas station attendant or vape shop is a MUST. Car wash experience is an added bonus but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Proficiency in using POS systems for processing payments.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Experience in upselling products is a plus; ability to identify customer needs and suggest relevant items.
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base effectively.
