Our services include the design and contract administration of municipal infrastructure for residential subdivisions, and institutional, commercial, and industrial site plans.
The Design Group at SCS provides input throughout the Development process however, we specialize in the detailed design of municipal services which includes watermains, storms sewers, sanitary sewers, grading design, earthworks management, as well as coordination of the various subconsultants.

What you’ll be doing:
Reporting to a Project Manager, you will be a project designer with approximately 4 years related experience involved with various aspects of land development projects through both the design and construction phases. Your responsibilities will include preparing preliminary and final grading and servicing designs, cost estimates, project schedules, coordinating projects through the approvals process, liasing with contractors, sub-consultants, and clients.
What we’re looking for from you:
- Have a degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Technology
- Have a thorough understanding of municipal and land development design;
- Have a minimum of four (4) years of related experience;
- Must have knowledge with residential subdivisions, master servicing plans, stormwater management plans, site grading and servicing plans;
- Must be self-motivated possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Able to work independently and manage multiple projects and clients is an asset; and
- Have a clear understanding of the development approval process in various GTA municipalities is an asset.
