The ideal candidate is a apprentice plumber/gasfitter with experience in the commercial construction sector, with some experience and a genuine interest in working with a team to successfully complete projects. You ideally have experience in the construction/industrial space and are motivated by collaborating on projects to safely achieve goals and budgets. Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install plumbing systems
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Solder, thread pipe, take accurate measurements and interpret isometric drawings.
- Specializing in new construction and renovations
- Must be proficient in the use of hand and power tools
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in plumbing, maintenance, or other related field
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Experience with basic commercial plumbing and heating systems such as domestic water, hydronic heating, drainage and venting preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven abilities in time management and organizational skills
