We’re looking for an Accountant who wants to help build a growing company, not just manage its books. Our goal is to hire our future CFO and develop them alongside the business. As we expand locations, services, and acquisitions, you’ll play a key role in both the financial leadership and the day-to-day business by understanding our operations, customers, suppliers, and people.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Manage all aspects of full-cycle accounting.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Complete bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare GST/PST and other government filings.
- Manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
- Coordinate year-end with external accountants.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and accounting records.
- Develop financial reports and KPIs for management.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and reliable financial information.
Business Leadership
- Learn every aspect of the business by spending time in our stores, warehouse, and service divisions.
- Understand our customers, suppliers, inventory, and operations to provide better financial insight.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, and internal processes.
- Build systems, reporting, and controls that support a growing multi-location business.
- Partner with department leaders to improve operational performance.
- Assist with evaluating new stores, acquisitions, and strategic investments.
- Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to business planning.
- Take on increasing leadership responsibilities as the company grows.
Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

- Bachelor's Degree (required)
Licence/Certification:
- CPA Designation (preferred)
