Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial and institutional spaces. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals who take pride in their work.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Clean restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to meet health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently to ensure effective results
Qualifications
- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and walking for extended periods
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork
