Position Overview
The Leasing Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting leasing operations across a large residential portfolio of 100+ buildings. This position is the first point of contact for prospective residents and is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing inbound rental inquiries, and ensuring a seamless lead-to-application experience.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Lead Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all rental inquiries via phone, email, and CRM platform
- Respond promptly and professionally to all inbound leads, ensuring a high level of customer service
- Provide detailed and accurate information about available units, pricing, amenities, and building features across the portfolio
- Qualify prospective tenants and guide them through next steps in the leasing process
Leasing Coordination & Communication
- Schedule and coordinate property tours with Leasing Associates / Showing Agents
- Follow up with showing agents to collect tour feedback and status updates
- Maintain clear and timely communication with prospects throughout the leasing journey
Application & Administrative Support
- Distribute rental applications and guide applicants through the submission process
- Assist applicants in gathering and submitting required documentation (ID, proof of income, references, etc.)
- Ensure all application materials are complete and organized prior to review
- Accurately update and maintain records within the CRM system
Portfolio Knowledge
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the full property portfolio (100+ buildings)
- Stay up to date on availability, pricing, promotions, and building-specific details
- Effectively match prospects with suitable units based on their needs and preferences
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in customer service, leasing, or administrative support (real estate experience is an asset)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage a high volume of inquiries in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with CRM systems/Yardi and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Professional, friendly, and solutions-oriented approach
Pay: $58,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
