maxill is looking for energetic and reliable team players to join our Shipping & Warehouse dept.
The Location
This position is in St Thomas, Ontario, Canada.
The Position –Shipping and Warehouse
Full time & part time positions available.
This position is in person ONLY in St Thomas, Ontario. No remote options.
Scheduling hours range between 7:00 AM- 6:00 PM and Monday-Sunday. This position will include Saturday and/or Sunday shifts.
This position is working in a team environment and working independently.
This position is physical and requires an individual to stand and walk all day.
The position includes picking customer orders by bin using a barcode scanner. Items are then checked for accuracy and packed according to size and weight. They are then shipped using courier software.
This position includes training and use of a stand up Order Picker forklift. Forklift or similar experience is an asset.
Your day consists of picking, packing and shipping orders to customers using shipping scanners and courier shipping websites.
This position includes emptying 40’ shipping containers.
Qualifications that you bring to the position;
- Shipping experience is helpful, but not mandatory.
- Fork truck driving experience is an asset, but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in a FAST-PACED environment, all day.
- Able to work Saturdays and/or Sundays weekly
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Above average math skills
- Pleasant mannerism and ability to get along with co-workers
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
- Excellent communication skills in English ( written and spoken )
- Safety footwear required
