CRM Application Consultant
Position Summary
We are seeking a customer-focused CRM Application Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing success of Sage CRM and Creatio solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with clients to understand business processes, optimization of CRM usage, and deliver practical solutions without extensive software development.
The successful candidate will provide functional consulting, user support, education, system configuration, and light application customizations while acting as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
CRM Consulting & Business Analysis
· Work closely with clients to understand business processes and CRM requirements.
· Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
· Recommend CRM best practices and process improvements.
· Configure CRM solutions to align with customer workflows and business objectives.
· Assist with CRM implementation, upgrades, and optimization projects.
Application Configuration
· Configure entities, forms, views, dashboards, workflows, reports, and security settings.
· Create and modify CRM layouts, fields, and business rules.
· Perform light application customizations within Sage CRM and Creatio using built-in tools.
· Configure automation and notifications using low-code/no-code capabilities.
· Assist with data imports, exports, and migration activities.
Customer Support
· Provide Level 1 application support for CRM users.
· Troubleshoot functional issues and identify appropriate resolutions.
· Escalate complex technical issues internally to next tier support, development or vendor support when necessary.
· Maintain support documentation and knowledge articles.
Education & User Adoption
· Deliver end-user and administrator education.
· Create user guides and education materials.
· Assist customers in adopting CRM best practices.
Project Delivery
· Participate in CRM implementation and enhancement projects.
· Assist with solution testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
· Document configurations and business processes.
· Work collaboratively with project managers, developers, and customer stakeholders.
Qualifications
· 2+ years of experience with Sage CRM, Creatio, or similar CRM platforms.
· Experience configuring CRM applications without heavy programming.
· Strong understanding of CRM concepts and business processes.
· Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong communication and presentation abilities.
· Ability to manage multiple client priorities.
· Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
· Experience with one or more of the following:
o Sage CRM
o Creatio CRM
o Microsoft Dynamics 365
o Salesforce
o HubSpot CRM
· Knowledge of sales, marketing, and customer service processes.
· Experience with workflow automation.
· Experience importing and exporting data.
· Familiarity with reporting and dashboards.
· Basic CSS, or JavaScript knowledge for light interface customizations is an asset but not required.
· Basic SQL Knowledge
· Basic understanding of ERP Systems
