Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team, mainly building new custom homes. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, supporting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring the smooth progress of building activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with hand tools, carpentry, or general construction is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in the construction industry.
Duties
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials.
- Use hand tools and power tools for tasks such as framing, caulking, and installation work.
- Support carpentry activities, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials according to schematics or blueprints.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate project execution.
- Support plumbing and welding tasks as needed under supervision.
- Aid in flooring installation and tile laying for interior and exterior projects.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, construction techniques, and safety procedures.
- Experience or familiarity with carpentry, blueprint reading, schematics, caulking, restoration, painting, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, or tile laying is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Pay: $17.22-$30.91 per hour
