At Touchwood Flooring, we specialize in premium hardwood flooring and refined craftsmanship. From European-inspired hardwood collections to expert installation and refinishing, we focus on delivering an elevated boutique experience for homeowners, designers, and builders across Edmonton.
We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Office Administrator / Showroom Coordinator to help keep our operations running smoothly while delivering an exceptional client experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, takes pride in organization, communicates professionally, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
●Manage front desk and showroom operations, including greeting visitors and assisting
walk-in clients
● Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and strong
communication skills
● Schedule appointments, site measures, deliveries, and coordinate calendars
● Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
● Assist with data entry, invoicing, and basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
● Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries with transport companies and suppliers
● Help maintain showroom cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards
● Organize and maintain flooring sample libraries and product displays
● Assist with customer follow-up communication and administrative support
● Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for spreadsheets, documents, and
presentations
● Proofread and prepare documents, quotes, and customer communications
● Assist in researching and building contact lists for interior designers, builders, and
contractors
● Provide excellent customer service while supporting the sales and operations teams
Qualifications
●Previous office administration or customer service experience preferred
● Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
● Professional phone etiquette and communication skills
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
● Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
● Experience with QuickBooks or bookkeeping software is considered an asset
● Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
