SUBJECT: New Home Sales Assistant
PAY: $26 an hour + Bonus Incentive – Part Time (with potential in the future for full time)
LOCATION: 57 Wood Crescent Angus, On. – Saturday and Sundays from 12pm to 4pm + flexibility for additional hours
OVERVIEW
SanDiego Homes Inc. is looking for a dynamic, kind, friendly person who is interested in selling new home construction in Angus. SanDiego Homes is a proudly Canadian, family-owned business that has been a trusted builder in our industry for over 50 years. We are looking for an individual to operate the sales office on Saturday and Sundays from 12pm to 4pm. Duties include fielding telephone calls, fielding emails, greeting clients and potential customers, provide information and assist potential purchasers, assist current purchasers with inquires and assisting the sales manager and sales agents. We provide extensive support, educational courses and mentorship to set you up for success! The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping clients find their dream home, with a strong focus on customer service and professional growth. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your negotiation, marketing, and communication skills to facilitate successful transactions. As a sales assistant, you will play a vital role in building lasting client relationships. Experience in new home sales or having personal experience with a new home purchase is preferred.
Minimum Requirements:
- Min. High School Diploma
- G Driver’s License
Preferred Requirements:
- First Aid Certification
- 2-4 minimum years of experience
- Ability to interpret, understand and explain legislations and policies in relations to the building standard code of Ontario, occupational health and safety practices, and organizational behavior principles
- Ability to work independently and to undertake a variety of tasks
Administrative Duties
- Providing administrative support by maintaining confidential customer files by filing, organizing, archiving physical & electronic files
- Maintaining office supplies and equipment by taking inventory, ordering and receiving supplies for the office
- Ensuring the office has copies of price list, standard feature sheets and other selling tools
- Ensuring that the sales office floor plans are always stocked
- Ensuring the Office & Model homes are clean and in working order such as light bulbs being burnt out etc…
- Responsible for opening & closing the office & model homes
- Answering and redirecting phone calls, responding to internal and external inquiries and request for information, providing excellent customer service
- Help develop and implement marketing strategies to promote listings across various channels, including social media and online platforms
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local real estate market trends and property values
- Organizational skills to manage multiple listings, appointments, and deadlines efficiently
Customer Service Duties
- Greeting all customers and potential customers in a timely and friendly manner.
- Provide information on our new home products we have for sale
- Ensure and provide quality service to our customers and our suppliers
- Negotiate offers and counteroffers
- Maintain detailed call & visitation activity reports.
- Build and nurture relationships with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business
- Coordinate with real estate team when applicable to facilitate smooth transactions
- Multilingual or bilingual proficiency to serve diverse client populations effectively, not mandatory)
- Exceptional communication skills for clear negotiations and client interactions
- Working with frequent interruptions
- Work will be performed in an office setting
- Need for consistent attention to detail
- Required to be able to respond under high volume, intense situations
- Commitment to professional development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role
