Sæplast Americas Inc is looking for individuals in the position of: General Labourer.
Anticipated start date: August 4th and/or 10th
Location: Saint John, New Brunswick (Multiple Vacancies)
Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum 2 years Post-Secondary
- Experience: Production/manufacturing experience an asset, training provided
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work in both a team environment and independently
- Attention to detail and aptitude to follow detailed work instructions
- Problem solving
- Hand-eye coordination
- Ability to lift up to 23 kilograms (50 lbs)
Duties, but not limited to:
- Finishing and assembling insulated containers
- Housekeeping
- Operating overhead hoists with suspended loads
- Use of power tools – 2 lb impact gun, drill, dremmel, router
- Use of hand-held tools – 2lb hammer, 4’ and 6’ pry bars, 2’ T-bar, paint scraper
- Moving and flipping 50 – 120-pound plastic boxes
- Moving and stacking 15 – 35-pound plastic lids
- Following production scheduling and detailed instructions
- Completing equipment inspections and production reports
