Body Sugaring Technician

The Sugary is an award-winning body sugaring studio in Peterborough, and we are looking for a motivated, friendly, and professional individual to join our team.
No sugaring experience is required. The right candidate will receive professional training paid for by the studio.
What You'll Do
Perform body sugaring services after training
Build and maintain your own client base
Take over existing clients while the owner is on maternity leave
Respond to client inquiries and assist with booking appointments through Fresha, Instagram, and Facebook
Help maintain a clean, professional studio environment
Assist with social media and marketing efforts to attract new clients
Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming and comfortable experience for clients
Training
Professional sugaring training will be provided and paid for by the studio.
Compensation
$18/hour
Opportunities for wage increases as clientele and experience grow
Keep 100% of your tips
Schedule
Current studio hours are:
Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Wednesday: 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Saturday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
There is flexibility for the right candidate, including opportunities for evening hours and expanded scheduling as the business grows.
We are looking for someone to begin training alongside the current Sugarist as soon as possible. The successful candidate will receive hands-on mentorship before transitioning into a larger client load and full-time role beginning in August 2026.

Requirements
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Must have reliable transportation
Must be willing to complete professional sugaring training
Previous beauty, esthetics, customer service, or healthcare experience is an asset but not required
