Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Take and develop digital radiographs (X-rays) ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations.
- Assist in applying fluoride treatments and sealants to protect against cavities.
- Review medical histories and update patient records accurately using dental software such as Cleardent.
- Provide compassionate care to pediatric, adult, and special needs patients, including bilingual communication when applicable.
- Maintain a clean and organized operatories environment adhering to infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with dentists and office staff to enhance patient experience and treatment outcomes.
Experience
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice.
- Prior experience working in a busy dental office setting is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with dental software systems such as Cleardent or similar platforms.
- Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse patient populations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients of all ages.

Pay: $62.00-$65.00 per hour
